A rare opportunity to acquire a very special pair of best European side by side 20bore ejector AYA Mod 53 shotguns.
Having owned these guns for some years, our client has decided to let them go to a new owner to free space in his collection. This delightful, true pair of AYA Mod 53 shotguns show little sign of use and are in overall remarkable condition.
Presented with straight hand stocks, measuring 14 3/4β³ with stock lengths in wood. Nicely figured stocks with diamond grip hands. Double triggers with the front trigger being articulated. Gold washed lock work, auto safety returns. Action with side clips and third bites. Hand detachable lock plates. Both stocks have their stock ovals engraved with clients crest, this engraving can be removed should the new owner prefer.
The action and lock plates are adorned with fine floral and ribbon design, gold inlaid 1 & 2 to top levers, top rib & forend tips. Consecutive serial numbers.
29 1/2β³ chopper lump barrels. Chambered 2 3/4β³ β 70mm and choked Improved cylinder x 1/2. These guns could be used with standard performance steel shot cartridges.
Presented in a double motor case β not by maker.

We are pleased to offer this DBHE OU 12bore William Powell βPerdixβ for sale.
Having placed a custom stock order for this DBHE OU 12bore William Powell Perdix shotgun in 2020, our client sadly has to cease shooting due to poor health. The gun has only been lightly used on a few occasions since ownership. In as new condition.
Presented with upgraded timber as chosen by our client and custom stocked to 16 1/4β³ in wood with a rounded end pistol grip. The timber is almost unmarked and is a delight to the eye.
The French grey action is pleasantly engraved with partridges & pheasant in flight bordered with acanthus scroll. Wm Powell tastefully engraved to the flanks of the action and Perdix to the underside. Single selectable trigger with auto safety return.
With 30β³ Monoblock barrels, chambered for the use of 3β³ β 76mm cartridges. 6mm solid game top rib with brass foresight. 5 x Long flush fitting multi chokes & key. Proofed for the use of superior steel shot subject to the correct use of chokes.
Supplied in makers plastic motor case.
