Master Gun Stock Maker & Director

Gareth completed his apprenticeship as a stock maker in 2005, not only with the praise of his father “his Master” but also with The Worshipful Company of Gun Makers and The Gun Trade Association.

Following the passing of his Master, Gareth has continued to developed A.W.Rule And Son Gun Makers Ltd, creating his own client base as well as receiving great support from existing clients. Expanding the company with the introduction of a successful retail department, an independent gun room with new and second hand gun sales, wood room stocked with the finest Turkish Walnut for clients to select and a redesigned in house workshop to cater for all aspects of gun making.

Gareth enjoys many country pursuits, he is involved in a private syndicate shoot as well as a keen clay shooter. Course fishing and golf have always been a passion, he plays skittles for a local team and enjoys being social and active in his local community.

Mr Steven Randall

Workshop Manager

“Steve” joined the family firm of A.W.Rule & Son Gun Makers in 2012, having formally worked for over a decade in the Aerospace industry.

Supporting A.W.Rule and Son Gun Makers Ltd, Steve has brought skills and knowledge that compliments Gareth`s high level of attention to detail.

Steve, a father of two boys, has a great approach to problem solving. His patience and ability not to be phased by any situation are both remarkable. Thus making Steve a valuable friend to Gareth and an asset to A.W.Rule & Son Gun Makers Ltd.

Steve also enjoys many country pursuits, he is involved in a private syndicate shoot with Gareth as well as a keen clay shooter.

For any shotgun servicing, repairs or general inquiries, Steve is highly capable to assist you.

Miss Sophie Vaux

Personal Assistant / Receptionist

Sophie has just joined the team of A.W.Rule & Son Gun Makers Ltd.

From a farming family back ground, Sophie is well grounded in country activities. Having attended Collage & University courses, she has spent time in various employment roles including a recent period spent at a local solicitors firm.

Sophie will be responsible for day to day telephone inquiries, the processing of shotgun administration, record keeping, social media and much more….

Sophie has a basic understanding of our retail products which in time will grow into a wealth of knowledge, please introduce yourself to her so she can become familiar with your requirements.
