After the stock was bored, balance & length made off, a new ⅞” solid silver oval was made & fitted.
The finer detailing of drop points were carved then the first coat of red oil applied showing the true natural beauty of the wood & grain.
The next steps will be chequering and best oil finishing to follow soon
