A rare opportunity to acquire a very special pair of best European side by side 20bore ejector AYA Mod 53 shotguns.

Having owned these guns for some years, our client has decided to let them go to a new owner to free space in his collection. This delightful, true pair of AYA Mod 53 shotguns show little sign of use and are in overall remarkable condition.

Presented with straight hand stocks, measuring 14 3/4″ with stock lengths in wood. Nicely figured stocks with diamond grip hands. Double triggers with the front trigger being articulated. Gold washed lock work, auto safety returns. Action with side clips and third bites. Hand detachable lock plates. Both stocks have their stock ovals engraved with clients crest, this engraving can be removed should the new owner prefer.

The action and lock plates are adorned with fine floral and ribbon design, gold inlaid 1 & 2 to top levers, top rib & forend tips. Consecutive serial numbers.

29 1/2″ chopper lump barrels. Chambered 2 3/4″ – 70mm and choked Improved cylinder x 1/2. These guns could be used with standard performance steel shot cartridges.
