A W Rule and Son Gunmakers Ltd announce collaboration with bespoke sporting agency River and Moor

Industry leading Somerset-based gunmaker A W Rule and Son are collaborating with prestigious field sports, estate management and travel agency, River and Moor Ltd.

The collaboration gives professional sportsmen and women, as well as estate owners and travellers, the opportunity to take part in exclusive national and international shoots and have access to apprentice-trained specialist gunstock makers.

A.W. Rule and Son Gun Makers Ltd offer a full in-house Gun Making service with apprentice trained gun makers. Founded in London 1957, Anthony William Rule served his formal apprenticeship with James Purdey and Son Gun Makers before starting a successful business in Somerset. Today, his son Gareth Rule continues to honour his father’s legacy and has expanded the company with the introduction of a successful retail department, an independent gun room with new and second hand gun sales, wood room stocked with the finest Turkish Walnut for clients to select and a redesigned in house workshop to cater for all aspects of gun making.

River and Moor was founded after 25 years of experience in field sports and shoot management. The outdoor sporting agency offers bespoke global sporting packages, as well as loading, in field instruction, simulated game days, and shoot and fishery management and letting services to national and international clients.

Mr Gareth Rule of A W Rule and Son Gunmakers Ltd says, “We are delighted to work with Spencer at River and Moor, allowing our clients direct access to exclusive shoots and experiences that they wouldn’t have elsewhere. It’s a perfect match for both parties and we can’t wait to see where this collaboration takes us in the future.”
