Somerset-based gunmaker A. W. Rule and Son Gunmakers Ltd are offering a new free courier collection service with insurance to assist clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the shooting season being cut short, many clients will require their guns to be serviced, maintained and repaired prior to the shooting season resuming in August 2021. To combat an over subscription of their workshop, A. W. Rule & Son Gun Makers Ltd are offering this bespoke courier service for a limited time only.
The service will allow customers to drop their guns at their local gun shop Registered Firearms Dealer or shooting ground (subject to their opening hours) in accordance with local restrictions as set out by the Government. A. W. Rule Gun Makers Ltd will then arrange for the goods to be collected and delivered to the workshop in Somerset.
Customers are advised to contact A W Rule & Son Gun Makers Ltd via telephone or email in the first instance, where they will be informed of the COVID-safe procedure. The process involves the sharing of the customer’s shot gun certificate details, arranging a convenient collection date with their local gunshop/RFD/shooting ground, and instructing their courier agent.
Customers will be contacted and informed that the gun has been received.
