A W Rule and Son Gunmakers are tracking the progress of a selection of our restocking projects on Instagram Guides, a new feature on the popular social media platform.
Our Instagram account is growing as more and more clients wanting to learn more about the behind the scenes process of gun making. We will be sharing the step-by-step progress of two restocking jobs, an DBHE 12bore AYA Mod 2 Round Action and a circa 1899 Henry Atkin. From selecting the Turkish Walnut stock blank to preparing the stock for oil and chequering, all the way to returning the gun back to its owner, we want to tell the stories of the guns that we are entrusted to maintain.
